Council-In-Committee
The Council-in-Committee provides a forum for the public to bring concerns to Council to be heard.
The Council-in-Committee (CIC) is comprised of Mayor and Council. CIC meetings provide a forum for the public to bring concerns before Council to be heard. In addition, these meetings deal with reports and recommendations from City staff which generally require a presentation or a more lengthy discussion process.
Generally, CIC tends to meet on the same day as a Council meeting, with some exceptions. Please refer to the 2023 Council calendar and this week's meeting schedule to confirm that a CIC meeting has been scheduled.
