Releaf Tree Planting

Help grow the urban forest by planting trees with us every spring and fall!

Since 1991, volunteers have planted thousands of trees and shrubs in Surrey parks to help grow the urban forest. Each plant creates shade, improves air quality, provides food and shelter for wildlife and boosts biodiversity in parks.

Public plantings

Surrey residents are invited to join various community tree planting opportunities each spring and fall.

School plantings

Classes are welcome! We have a limited number of planting opportunities each spring and fall. Check out our parks school programs to learn more.

Community plantings

We have some planting opportunities for local organizations looking to give back to their community. Please contact us at stewardship@surrey.ca to inquire about availability for your group.
