Victim Services
The City of Surrey has two victim service programs available to provide immediate assistance to victims of crime. The Surrey Women’s Centre provides services to victims of family and sexual violence. RCMP Victim Service Unit supports victims of all crime types.

Surrey Women’s Centre provides critical support and resources for women, children and men seeking safety from violence. It is often the first, and sometimes only, point of contact for those in crisis.

Transition Houses
Transition Houses provide short-term safe housing and supports for women and children fleeing violence.
Ama House for Older Women
Ama House is the first transition house of its kind in Canada. Accessible to women 55+, Ama serves a community where the number of seniors per capita is twice the national average although there are no geographical limitations for access.
