| The City of Surrey invites contractors to provide a quotation for:
Bulk and Detail Excavation Services City Centre Library Project. Scope of Services The scope of Services to be provided includes bulk and detail excavation. The scope of Services includes shoring per the Geotechnical Engineer's drawings and specifications, and Erosion and Sediment Control per the Civil Engineer's Erosion and Sediment Control drawings. The scope also includes any excavation and backfill for site Services as detailed on the Mechanical and Electrical drawings and detail excavation per the structural plans. The site will be cleared prior to excavation as part of the demolition contract, but grass will remain in areas and potentially some small areas of landscaping, along with site services which must be properly capped off and removed as part of bulk excavation. The Contractor will provide the Goods and Services set out in Schedule A of the RFQ document for the period commencing on or before March 5, 2010 and terminating on April 2, 2010. This is a fast track project and time is of the essence. Accordingly, the scope of Services should include for at least a minimum of two shifts and any other measures needed to meet the dates outlined in the RFQ. Addenda If the Owner determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the Owner Representative will post a written addendum on the Owner's FTP site that will form part of this RFQ. No amendment of any kind to the RFQ is effective unless it is posted in a formal written addendum on the Owner's FTP site. Upon submitting a Quotation, Contractors will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that are posted on the Owner's FTP site.
