National Hiking Trail Through Surrey!

National Hiking Trail

Surrey is proud to be the starting (or end!) point of the National Hiking Trail. This trail was started in 1971 with the idea of establishing a walking trail from BC to Newfoundland.

In BC, the development of the trail is led by Hike BC. Through Surrey, there is one main trail with two loop trails all running between Peace Arch Provincial Park and Mud Bay Park. Here the trail connects to the Boundary Bay Regional Trail through Delta to the BC Ferries terminal at Tsawwassen.

Here is a map of the main route with two loop trails through Surrey.

For more information please see the Hike BC links above or call 604-501-5050 / email parksrecculture@surrey.ca

Thank you for your interest in hiking in Surrey!
