Cloverdale Recreation Centre is closed for scheduled maintenance until September 7, 2017.

This fully accessible facility offers registered and drop-in programs for everyone in the community from preschool to seniors. Cloverdale Recreation Centre is open seven days a week and offers free parking, child minding services and free wi-fi.

Scheduled Closure from August 8, 2017 to September 7, 2017

Cloverdale Recreation Centre will be closed for scheduled maintenance to the entire building's floors as well as a deep cleaning of the facility. The covered youth park will remain open during this time but the washrooms in Cloverdale Recreation Centre will not be available. This will be the first closure for Cloverdale Recreation Centre since it's opening to the public. 

Recreation pass holders can continue fitness programs, seniors services and youth programs at other recreation facilities. Summer day camps will be relocated to other facilities, including schools. 

FREE Fitness Classes during Cloverdale Recreation Centre's Scheduled Closure 

All fitness classes will be held at Shannon Hall, located at 6050 - 176 Street. 

Bootcamp will be offered on the following dates and times:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6:15am to 7:15am
  • Mondays and Thursdays at 5:15pm to 6:15pm 
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:15am to 10:15am

Yoga will be offered on the following dates and times:

  • Tuesdays at 6:30pm to 7:45pm
  • Thursdays at 7:45pm to 9:00pm

Fit 55+ and Fit 55+ Lite* will be offered on the following dates and times:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:15am to 10:15am
  • *Wednesdays at 10:30am to 11:30am

Step will be offered on Wednesdays at 5:15pm to 6:15pm.

    Enjoy savings by purchasing swipe, 1-month or 1-year passes if you plan to participate regularly. Use your recreation pass at any facility for drop-in: swim, skating, fitness, weights, sports and more! Fees are valid from September 1, 2016, to August 31, 2017, and are subject to change without notice. Our 1-month and 1-year passes are valid at all City-operated facilities. All prices include taxes.

    There are three gymnasiums at Cloverdale Recreation Centre.

    Our 8,000 square feet weight room is wheelchair accessible, equipped with TV and Wi-Fi and has:

    • 72 pieces of cardio equipment including spin bikes, ellipticals and treadmills
    • 20 pieces of strength training equipment including a Synrgy 360, weight machines and 2 squat racks
    • Dumbbells up to 70 pounds
    • Wellness room with 24 spin bikes, TRX and functional training equipment including a power mill

    Check out the Summer Fitness Drop In Schedule for several fitness classes like boot camp, spin, or yoga. We also offer personal training.

    We have 2,000 square feet of fitness studio space with:

    We have drop in hours for preteens and youth every Friday and Saturday. We also have an outdoor covered skate park and sports courts.

    Our seniors lounge is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.

    A current Cloverdale or City-Wide Seniors’ Membership is required to participate in the various 55+ activity/club groups. This membership also gives members discounts on some registered programs offered at Cloverdale Recreation Centre. Cloverdale Seniors’ Advisory Board is pleased to offer an “Honorary” Cloverdale Seniors’ membership to those aged 90 years or better.

    Another option is the multi-facility membership which entitles the member to participate in activity club groups at all six City of Surrey Seniors’ Centres and multi-generational facilities. An individual centre Seniors’ Membership is only $23.75 and a multi-facility City-Wide Seniors’ Membership is $66.25. Memberships are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
