Surrey Nature Centre at Green Timbers

Join us to discover nature in the city!

We've got lots of opportunities for you to get outside to play and explore.

The warm weather is here! Time to get outside and into nature at the Surrey Nature Centre!

Teachers, complement your classroom teaching by bringing your class on one of our elementary school programs or preschool field trips, and build your skills and confidence teaching outdoors by attending a Pro-D day workshop.

Give your child an opportunity to make new friends and have fun outside with our day camps, birthday parties, Nature Preschool, and other early years programs. Daycares and groups can book a private Explore Program for a memorable nature experience together.

Families can explore our interactive indoor space, or borrow a backpack full of activities to kick-start your adventures outside. Climb our giant tree stump, build a fort in the Pole Forest, and search for signs of wildlife along forest trails. You can even get your hands dirty caring for the forest at a Nature Work Party.

Spring programs and events take place April through June 2017 with lots of opportunities to get into nature.
