Pool Accessibility

The City of Surrey recognizes the importance of creating a community that is completely accessible and inclusive and aims to be a community where everyone is able to live life more independently and participate fully.

To meet this goal, all City of Surrey indoor pools have pool accessibility highlights, so all ages and abilities can participate and enjoy swimming.

Planat is an online tool that allows you to view and rate the accessibility of places worldwide.

With Planat, people with accessibility needs can prepare their trips and make life better. Businesses can also use it to promote their access while gathering valuable feedback to make improvements.

An innovation of the Rick Hansen Foundation, it is another step towards our goal of creating a truly accessible and inclusive community.
