It's the seventh week of the 20th Annual Environmental Extravaganza! Come join us as we explore and learn about nature in Surrey - there's something for everyone.

The complete Extravaganza Event Guide is available for download now. In April, pick up a hardcopy at the Surrey Nature Centre, your local Surrey Library or Recreation Centre, or any Extravaganza event.

Please note: event hosts reserve the right to limit group registration sizes.

Join us for some forest fun! Our leader will engage children in outdoor play with activities such as storytelling, nature arts and exploration, games and best of all, child-led free play. Ages 3-5, parent participation required.

Discover Owls
Drop by to learn all about owls! Meet some live birds from O.W.L. Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society, dissect an owl pellet, and enjoy fun activities all about these amazing animals. Great for all ages.

The Glades Garden Open House
Discover the story of The Glades as you walk in this stunning woodland garden featuring over 2500 rhododendrons and a collection of heritage trees. Trails are bark mulch with limited wheelchair access. No pets, please.

First Nations Sweat Lodge Ceremony
The Sweat Lodge is a First Peoples’ ceremony used to connect with and honour the Earth. This ceremony lasts 2-3 hours.
