Delta/ Surrey Regional Heritage Fair

Student projects displayed at the 2016 fair

The Surrey Museum is a partner in this bilingual educational initiative that encourages students to explore Canadian history and heritage through project-based learning. The two-day heritage event, hosted by the Corporation of Delta, showcases research projects on Canadian history from students across Delta and Surrey. These students participate in a full-day program of field trips, workshops and other activities.

The fair will take place on April 27-28, 2018 at the Harris Barn at 4140 Arther Drive in Ladner.

Schedule

Student Fair Day - April 27, 2018

Teachers are invited to bring their class to the Fair for FREE drop-in activities. The full-day program includes
interviews,workshops and other activities for students.

Public Fair Day - April 28, 2018

A full-day program of activities for the public with a closing ceremony attended by special VIP guests.

How You Can Get Involved

Volunteers are needed to help with all aspects of the fair, including: working with students, taking event photos, providing information to students and the general public and adjudicating student projects. To sign up as a volunteer, visit delta.ca/volunteer.
