Cloverdale Athletic Park
The Parks Division is planning a variety of improvements to Cloverdale Athletic Park, including a new artifical turf field and practice area, a new field house and renovations to the water park. Construction of these park improvements is anticipated in 2017.
Visit this family-friendly, sports-oriented 20 hectare park. Enjoy a range of outdoor sports, including:
- artificial and turf soccer fields
- all weather fields
- softball diamonds
- tennis courts
- a basketball court
- a lacrosse box
In the summer, the larger fields tend to get busy, so be sure to book a field if you have a formal team practice or game.
You'll find 2 parking lots - one from 168 Street, and the other from 64 Avenue. To the south of this parking lot, you'll find a field house with washroom facilities. There are also lots of pathways around the park for walking or jogging.
Adjacent to the 64 Avenue parking lot, in the northwest corner of the park, you'll find a bike park, featuring a range of BMX and mountain bike features. The bike park is a great destination for novice to intermediate riders. The facility includes a pump track, BMX half-track, snake run, jumps and freestyle area. It is close to washrooms, water and parking.
There are 3 picnic shelters located north of the spray park in Cloverdale Athletic Park .
Picnic shelters are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you’re having a picnic or hosting an event in a Surrey park please review the Park Activity Guidelines. Steps to hosting an event at Cloverdale Athletic Park will differ if you’re looking to host a public event.
