Public Event in a Park

Palooza 2016

Please note Bear Creek Park is at capacity and we will not be accepting applications for any large scale events, including run/walk fundraisers.

A permit is required for hosting a public event or an event that exceeds 250 people in a City of Surrey Park.  A public event is one where members of the public are welcome to participate in your event.

Please fill out an event application on the City of Surrey’s Festival & Event Support Team (FEST) page. If you are unsure if your event needs a permit contact Parks at 604-501-5050 or If your event will host less than 250 people, visit the Picnics & BBQs page to review the guidelines.
