Bear Creek Park
When you explore Bear Creek Park, you'll find the focal point for the arts at the Surrey Arts Centre, the cooling off point for the summer at the outdoor pool and the kids' hot spot at the Bear Creek miniature train. Stay tuned for information about Park Connect, a new summer program for all ages to care for, play in, and discover Bear Creek Park.
Bear Creek Park Features
Events are held regularly at the newly-renovated Bear Creek Pavilion. We've even seen weddings in the Bear Creek Gardens, which is open from dawn 'til dusk, year round. You'll also find football and soccer fields and a running track to practice your skills. Or just wander down the nature trails and walking paths and have a picnic under the covered picnic shelter. Just a short walk down the trail and you could see a glimpse of some spawning salmon or trout.
For information about the Bear Creek Park Train & Mini Golf, give them a call at 604-501-1232.
Bear Creek Park is a great place to host a picnic. There are 7 picnic shelters in Bear Creek Park:
- 2 located east of the playground
- 2 located west of 140 Street parking lot
- 2 located northwest of the running track
- 1 located southeast of the pavilion
Picnic shelters are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you’re having a picnic or hosting an event in a Surrey park please review the Park Activity Guidelines. Steps to hosting an event at Bear Creek Park will differ if you’re looking to host a public event.
