This winter, join us for free guided walks in Surrey's nature parks and learn a little more about the urban forest that we are lucky to call home. To register, please call 604-502-6065.

Elgin Heritage Park (Crescent Rd between 136 St and 32 Ave)

Habitats of Elgin Heritage Park. Come out for a guided tour where land meets water. Look for eagles, ducks, and muskrats as you explore the scenic wetland habitats they call home.

Meet in the west parking lot, next to the park information kiosk.

Sat, Feb 11 2 - 3:30pm Bear Creek Park (13750 - 88 Ave) 10+

Bear Creek Wildlife Walk. Search for signs of wildlife in this park's diverse meadow, forest, and creek habitats. Look for the eagle nest, check out wildlife trees, and take a peek in the creek - who will you see?

Meet at the south edge of the parking lot, in front of the water park.

Tue, Mar 14 10 - 11am Crescent Park (132 St between 28 Ave and 26 Ave) 5+

Crescent Park Nature Discovery. Come discover art in nature! Look up close at nature's patterns and colours, watch a tree dance, paint with grass stains, and create your own masterpiece in the forest. Parent participation required.

Meet in the east parking lot, next to the playground.

Wed, Mar 22 10 - 11am Bear Creek Park (13750 - 88 Ave) 5+

Bear Creek Nature Discovery. Test out your wildlife tracking skills at Bear Creek Park! Look for the eagle nest, check out wildlife trees, and take a peek in the creek - who will you see? Parent participation required.

Meet at the south edge of the parking lot, in front of the water park.
