The South Surrey Recreation Centre is an eco-friendly state-of-the art recreation facility that offers programs for all ages, all cultures and all fitness levels. We offer registered and drop-in programs for early years, preschool, children, youth, adult, fitness and seniors. Our facility includes 2 full-sized gymnasiums, a multi-purpose gymnasium, 2 preschool rooms, a fitness studio, community lounge, dance studio and youth lounge .

Gym 3: Increase your strength, stamina and flexibility with a variety of fitness and athletic conditioning drills. Format and intensity will differ between recreation facilities.

Gym 2: Stay & Play drop-in.

Gym 3: An extended cardio component at a slightly lower intensity. High impact options demonstated for those who hlike to jump. This class is followed by muscular conditioning and relaxing stretch exercises.

MP5 Fitness Room: Challenge yourself to focus on proper technique to get the most out of a workout starting with step cardio and finishing off with punches and kicks or with body sculpt using balls, bands and weights.

MP6 Youth Area: Drop-in childminding.

Gym 2: Stay & Play drop-in.

Gym 3: Emphasis is placed on your mid section and abs. Work on proper posture, balance and stability.

MP5 Fitness Room: An introduction to those new to yoga. Focuses on stretching and relaxing exercises using a variety of techniques. May include a meditation component.

Gym 2: Drop-in 55+ pickle ball. Current site-specific seniors' or city-wide seniors' membership required. Current South Surrey or City-Wide Seniors' Membership required.

MP5 Fitness Room: A moderate intensity class consisting of low impact cardio followed by muscle conditioning and relaxing stretch exercises. Improve heart and lung fitness as well as balance, strength and flexibility.
