Two-day hands-on workshop with ceramic artist and professor Reid Ozaki (http://www.reidozaki.com/) Often potters become so enamored with the wheel and focused on its traditional use, that they can lose sight of the endless possibilities for ceramics on the wheel. In this workshop you will learn novel new ways to think about the wheel and to expand your current practice, maybe even start working on a new body of work!This workshop provides daily demos and generous hands-on time in the afternoon each day. Students will work independently with the support of the instructor. Registration is limited to 14 participants, on a first come, first served basis. Students must be competent at throwing on the wheel to participate in this workshop. Students bring their clay body of choice as well as their tools.
