Theatre Makers Creation Workshop
Are you hungry to develop your own performance strategies and crafts through hands-on experience?
This one-of-a kind workshop—in Surrey, Burnaby, and Vancouver—will guide you through a process of original theatrical creation using ‘adaptation’ as the theme. Get ready to be inspired as you work with professional performance creators and craftspeople across a variety of practices such as theatre, music, dance, multi-media, and spoken word as well as production design and management. Alongside this process, professional theatre artist, Susan Bertoia, will assist you to distill and craft this inspiration into an original piece that will be performed at the final showcase in September. You can choose to work as a solo artist or as part of a group within the class.
Experience welcome, but NOT required. What matters is that you want to be there!
