About Katzie park
Katzie Park, developed in 2009, features a pond and natural habitat area with a walking loop and viewing platform. You'll also find a playground at the northeast corner of the park. The pond is a popular place to view water fowl such as ducks and Canada Geese.
The Park was named in coordination with the adjacent elementary school, in recognition that the site is part of the traditional lands of the Katzie First Nation. This neighbourhood park was identified within the East Clayton Neighbourhood Concept Plan (NCP) .
