City Beautification and Placemaking Projects

Do you have ideas about how to improve places around the City? We're working hard to create beautiful and engaging places in the City of Surrey. We’d like to hear your suggestions and find out how we can work together to enhance the City. Let’s work together to improve our City.

Completed Beautification Projects

South east corner of King George Boulevard and 72nd Avenue: we've added new plants, trees and a new sign feature that better marks this important corner in Newton.

Newton Arena: we added temporary murals on the side of the designed by students at KPU.

The Grove: We brightened up the Grove with lights. The Grove is the treed area located next to the Newton Recreation Centre (see picture below).
