Surrey Fusion Festival Sure to Hit a High Note with this Year’s Performance Line-up

Surrey, BC – Presenting sponsor Coast Capital Savings is proud to announce the entertainment lineup for the 2016 Fusion Festival—BC’s largest multicultural celebration—taking place in Surrey on July 23 and 24 at Holland Park.
This year’s free festival will feature performers from around the world, including superstar Maxi Priest, who reached international success as the first reggae artist to have a No. 1 worldwide hit. Also appearing is two-time Juno and Latin Grammy award winner Alex Cuba and Delhi to Dublin, one of Canada’s most buzzed-about bands. Additional performances include: Good for Grapes, Thee Boom Booms, Ache Brasil and Kunda Africa.
“Fusion Festival will feature over 35 international pavilions and exhibitors who will present a delicious assortment of world cuisine while showcasing Surrey’s cultural diversity,” said City of Surrey Mayor Linda Hepner. “With five stages and 150 performers, there will something for everyone at this year’s event.”
“Surrey’s Fusion Festival is now in its ninth year and is a celebration of diversity through music, food and culture in stunning Holland Park,” said Councillor Mary Martin, Chair of Surrey's Diversity Advisory Committee. “I am so pleased to have this world class celebration hosted in Surrey.”
