Surrey hosts intelligent community expert in bid for "Intelligent Community of the Year" nod

Join Mayor Linda Hepner to welcome Louis Zacharilla, from the New York-based international think-tank "Intelligent Community Forum (ICF)", as he delivers a keynote presentation about the "Rise of the Intelligent Community".
Mr. Zacharilla will be on a two-day visit to Surrey May 3-4 as part of the City’s bid to be named "Intelligent Community of the Year 2016". Surrey has been named one of the "Top 7 Intelligent Communities of the Year" by ICF for the second year in a row.

Louis Zacharilla helped found the Intelligent Community movement. He appears regularly in the media to discuss what ICF calls "the new Renaissance" within the world’s communities. Co-author of three books: Broadband Economies: Building the Community for the 21st Century, Seizing Our Destiny, and Brain Gain, Mr. Zacharilla’s articles, opinion pieces, and blogs appear in publications worldwide.
