Mumford & Sons to Play Holland Park in Surrey

Surrey, BC – Together with Live Nation, the City of Surrey is excited to announce that Grammy award-winning band Mumford & Sons will appear at Surrey’s Holland Park on Friday May 24. They will be joined by special guests Michael Kiwanuka and Mystery Jets.
“Mumford & Sons is one of the hottest bands in the world right now and we’re proud to welcome them to Holland Park – the only B.C. stop on their North American tour,” says Mayor Dianne Watts. She adds, the 25,000 tickets are expected to sell out quickly.
Mumford & Sons second studio album Babel won Album of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, and was the #1 record in Canada, US and the UK this year.
Holland Park is one of Surrey's urban parks. At over 10 acres, Holland Park offers a green oasis in the Surrey's emerging City Centre. The Park plays host to numerous large scale community events including the annual Fusion Festival held each July, and was the location of Surrey’s celebration site at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
