Surrey, BC- The community celebrated the official opening of the newly renovated and expanded Fraser Heights Recreation Centre on Saturday, May 5th.

“The new addition will allow us to enhance and expand programs and in the growing community of Fraser Heights,” said City of Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts. “Through the Build Surrey program we are investing in new recreation amenities in each of our town centres in order to provide more opportunities for families to keep healthy and active.”

This multi-generational facility has been upgraded with a new 17,000 square foot addition, expanded multi-purpose room space, enhanced pre-school space, an additional gymnasium, and a 6,500 square foot fitness centre.
