A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings

by dan colley and riverbank arts centre, ireland

What to do about an angel who has fallen to earth? This thrilling piece of theatrical magic for young audiences and adults is adapted from the short story of the same name by Gabriel García Márquez. With gripping music, charming puppetry, live video projection, and a bunch of belly laughs, this fable leaps to life in all its wonderful weirdness and heartfelt emotion. If you loved our presentation of The Bookbinder in 2019, we’re sure you’ll enjoy The Old Man with Enormous Wings.

Join us in the lobby before the show to make a puppet and see it come to life on screen with film installation artist, Jesse Napier.
