Business Mentoring and Finance
Industry and government partners, together with the British Columbia Technology Industry Association (Website. New window) and the British Columbia Institute of Technology (Website. New window), have developed leading online directories that identify resources available to entrepreneurs.
These online directories contain resources on:
- business mentorship programs;
- accelerators and incubators;
- funding sources (angel, venture capital and grants);
- market and industry research;
- industry events; and
- government partners and programs.
The Centre 4 Growth, an initiative of the British Columbia Technology Industry Association (BCTIA), was launched in 2010 to address barriers to growth in BC’s advanced technology sector.
As an entrepreneur, you have access to an online Knowledge Centre, hands-on workshops, and a Director of Business Intelligence to assist in the growth of your company.
Created by the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), Commercialization BC (Website. New window) connects you as an entrepreneur to service providers who supply your business with
- research and development
- new product design
- prototype development
- funding and investment
- business consulting, and
- advisory services.
