The City of Surrey invites contractors to provide a quotation for Whirlpool/Teaching Pool Filtration UV Upgrade.

Provide all labour, supervision, materials, plant, equipment, layout, survey, permits, and inspections, to provide operational and tested mechanical systems with facilities and services to meet the requirements described herein and in accordance with applicable codes and ordinances. Furnish certificates confirming work conforms to requirements of authorities having jurisdiction.
Job site location is the South Surrey Indoor Pool, 14655 – 17th Avenue, Surrey, B.C. V4A 6M2.
The general components of the work include, but not limited to: complete, fully tested and operational mechanical systems, provide materials, equipment, plant, provide project management, and on-site supervision, establish orderly completion and the delivery of a fully commissioned installation, and related works.

The detailed scope of work is as described on the Contract Drawings (listed below), Special Provisions (Schedule B – Appendix 1), and Supplementary Specifications (Schedule B- Appendix 2).

INFORMATION MEETING
Thursday, October 21, 2010 – 1:00 p.m.
South Surrey Indoor Pool
14655-17th Avenue, Surrey, BC V4A 6M2
Meet in Main Lobby Area

The Contractor is to comply with all Building Codes, Engineers, Building Inspectors and authorities having local jurisdiction. Failure to abide by these rules and regulations will result in being immediately escorted from the work site.

Addenda
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will post a written addendum on the City FTP site that will form part of this RFQ. No amendment of any kind to the RFQ is effective unless it is posted in a formal written addendum on the City FTP site. Upon submitting a Quotation, Contractors will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that are posted on the City FTP site.
