The City of Surrey invites contractors to provide a quotation for:

Waste Carts & Lids
Supply, Delivery, Assembly & Distribution

The City is in the process of developing a pilot program that will introduce three stream waste collection to single family homes, including garbage, recycling and organics (yard and kitchen waste). It is anticipated that the pilot will be launched in late September 2010 and will run until the end of 2011. The pilot will include 2,000 sngle family residences.

The City requires new waste carts to be provided to pilot participants.

Goods
Carts - Fully sealed rotational moulded plastic hard cart body with fully rotating metal stop bar and with the ability to stack carts with the wheels attached.
Lids - Standard lids attachable to the top of cart.

Services
Delivery of un-assembled carts, wheels and lids.
Unloading and assembly of waste carts.
Distribution of assembled carts.

Addendum #1

Addenda
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City will post a written addendum on the City Website and upon posting will be deemed to form part of this RFQ. Upon submitting a Quotation, Contractors will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that are posted on the City Website.
