Request for Quotations

PURPOSE

The City invites Proposals from experienced and qualified Contractors for the provision of everything required including all skilled labour, tools, materials, equipment for Supply, Delivery and implementation of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) technology inside the City of Surrey Datacenter.

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

Project Description

The City’s current datacenter network is a relatively flat design that provides limited security and control for lateral traffic movement within the datacenter.  In addition, the current network design requires a significant amount of hands on management, and provides little in the way of automation and orchestration.

To solve these problems, the City of Surrey has elected to implement Cisco’s ACI technology within the City of Surrey datacentre.  The City is accepting proposal for both the supply of Cisco networking equipment and the complete implementation of ACI.
