Request for Quotations
The Contractor to be competent and capable of performing the requirements.
Indicate what product you are quoting and fill in the applicable costs per Tonne spread appropriate to each application # and fertilizer analysis specified.
Products to contain the appropriate percentage of slow-release or controlled-release, professional turf grass fertilizers using Methylene Urea M.U. or equivalent product formulations. Product to be dry, clean, free flowing, dust free, non-burning, with no filler. All materials are to be regular prill. Product to contain consistent sources of nutrient compounds and all these sources to be identified in detail by the manufacturer and in writing with guarantees as to product content. This information is to be included with your Quote for examination.
Application technique will consist of the following:
- Initial calibration of equipment
- Centre to Centre overlap
- Perimeter run of each sports field to finish application
- Maximum 50 ft. spreading width per run
- Maximum 20 kph within all Park boundaries
- Fields adjacent to Elementary schools are restricted to fertilizer spreading to before 8 AM or after 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Weekend spreading can only be completed at the discretion and approval of the designated Parks staff
- Cleanup of site as necessary

Addenda
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City’s Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”) that will form a part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractor to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
