Request for Quotations

PURPOSE

The City of Surrey is seeking Quotations from experienced and qualified Contractors for the rental and servicing of waste bins and portable toilets for the following Surrey major cultural events.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

To provide all the requirements of the Agreement including, without limitation any and all labour, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, and on-site supervision to faithfully perform and provide the Services at the major cultural events specified.

SERVICING

  1. The Contractor should ensure that all waste bins and portable toilets are in good condition. Any items requiring immediate repairs such as plugged toilets, leaks, or any health and safety concerns should be reported to the City, repaired or replaced immediately within 4-5 hours of reported damage.
     
  2. The Contractor should provide periodic service cleaning of the waste bins and portable toilets keeping them in clean and sanitary condition.  Any request for additional servicing will be responded to within 3-4 hours from first notification.
  1. Inspection of overall cleanliness and sanitation of the waste bins and portable toilets will be monitored as needed to ensure cleanliness of the goods throughout the event.
  1. The Contractor will remove and replace defective Goods at its own expense. If the Contractor does not carry out its obligations within a reasonable time, the City may remove and replace the defective Goods at the Contractor’s cost.

Addenda
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City’s Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”) that will form a part of this RFQ.  It is the responsibility of Contractor to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda.  The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum.  No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor.  By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
