Description:

Proposals are invited for Civil Work for Synthetic Fields & Tennis Court – Reference No. 1220-30-35-09. The work includes construction of the civil work for lit synthetic turf fields (excluding synthetic turf) located at Hjorth Road Park and Newton Athletic Park (two fields in total) and an un-lit tennis court located at Greenaway Park, in Surrey. Note that the City will only accept Proposals from contractors who have recently acted as the General Contractor for at least three successfully operating full size synthetic turf fields.

General Components of Work include:
Synthetic field projects include all site preparation including removals, excavation and filling, permeable aggregate subbase, field drainage system, wet down sprinkler system, concrete edge anchor, site drainage, high-mast field lighting (Musco system), chain link fencing, concrete plaza, trench drain, covered players benching areas, asphalt and concrete pathways and related works. The tennis court project includes excavation, fill placement, drainage system, chain link fencing, asphalt pavement, concrete block wall, trench drain system and related works.

The supply and installation of synthetic turf will be issued as a separate Request for Proposal and is therefore not part of the scope of work for this project.
