Description:

The City of Surrey invites contractors to provide a quotation for Litter Control Services.

Scope of Services
The Scope of Services consist of pick-up, bagging, removal and proper disposal of accumulated litter and debris along approximately 133.3 kilometres (94.8 kilometres of Translink work site locations and 38.5 kilometres of City work site locations) of City roadways and boulevards, including but not limited to, surrounding sidewalks, medians and traffic islands [both sides of the road including litter collected within road right-of-way] as well as disposal and any other related items of work necessary.

The Contractor shall be responsible for the collection and removal of trash, unathorized signs (e.g. real estate services, broken election signs or product advertising), waste, broken glass, bottles, cans, papers, leaves, grass clippings, branches and other unsightly debris from property line to property line along all of the roadways.

Contractor will be responsible for all traffic control required.

Addenda
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City will post a written addendum on the City Website and upon posting will be deemed to form part of this RFQ. Upon submitting a Quotation, Contractors will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that are posted on the City Website.
