Protect Surrey’s natural areas by joining our youth-led environmental group. Our Surrey Youth Stewardship Squad (SYSS) is a volunteer program for 13 to 18-year-olds who love the environment and want to do their bit to protect it.
Our projects include planting native trees, cleaning up parks and shorelines, removing invasive plants and decommissioning unsanctioned trails.
Sign up as an SYSS Member if you're ready to join our squad. If you're already an active volunteer for the City of Surrey, you don't need to create another profile. .
If you need a hand with signing up, eMail the Environmental Stewardship Team or phone us at 604-501-5158.
You can also join our Facebook group (Website. New window) for up-to-date information, pictures and news.
