Please note that these workshops are only available to registered and active Surrey Parks, Recreation & Culture volunteers.

A certificate will be awarded upon completion of 3 workshops and 14 hours of volunteer experiences with our Parks, Recreation and Culture department.

Future Leaders - Youth Leadership Program offers youth the opportunity to develop essential skills to become future leaders in their community. Future Leaders will become involved by engaging in volunteer experience, participating in professional development workshops, and job shadowing a staff mentor. Youth will be able to gain valuable training to help with future employment while gaining the hours required for graduation!

This free program is designed for men and women to practice their English in a comfortable environment while they learn about Canadian culture, meet others from around the world and share their experiences.
This is not a structured English class and some knowledge of English is required.
